FAQ

Simple by design.

Is TenantHub really free?

Yes. You can track properties, tenants, rent, reminders, and manually received payments without a monthly subscription.

How much does autopay cost?

Automatic bank payments cost up to $6.99 per successful payment. The fee is deducted from the landlord's payout.

Who pays the autopay fee?

The landlord pays the fee through a deduction from the rent payout. The tenant normally pays only the rent amount shown in the payment schedule.

Does TenantHub store bank-account information?

No. Bank-account information is securely collected and processed by Stripe. TenantHub stores only the identifiers and limited account details needed to display and manage the payment connection.

How does the landlord receive the money?

Stripe sends the rent proceeds to the landlord's connected payout account after deducting applicable payment fees.

Can I use TenantHub without autopay?

Yes. Manual rent tracking remains free, including payments received through Zelle, check, cash, or another method.

Do I need to connect payments to start?

No. You can start with free manual rent tracking and connect Autopay later.

Is this for large property managers?

TenantHub is built for small landlords, especially those managing 1–10 units.

Is this a full property management platform?

No. TenantHub is intentionally simpler. It focuses on rent tracking, reminders, receipts, tenant balances, messaging, maintenance requests, and optional Autopay.

What happens if a payment fails?

TenantHub does not charge its successful-payment service fee when rent is not successfully collected. Bank-return, dispute, or other exceptional fees may still apply.
